Operators can now benefit from revolutionary software and carrier-grade control and visibility when processing and delivering traditional linear and multiscreen video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the 4400 series, video providers can optimize the format, resolution and bitrate of large numbers of live satellite, IP and off-air digital sources for delivery to set-top-boxes or multi-screen devices. Options include modular platforms that can transcode, transrate or downscale up to 24 HD or 60 SD programs to MPEG-4, in just one rack unit of space, with integrated grooming and monitoring of all streams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are especially pleased to be offering 20 per cent higher MPEG-4 HD transcoding<\/a> density than the industry incumbent,\u201d said Inca CEO, Jeff Campbell. \u201cOperators today should expect more, and Inca delivers\u2014more streams, lower cost and more features.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Optional front-end input modules include the Inca Receiver 4400\u2014enabling reception and transcoding of off-air sources, and the Inca ASI 4400 module\u2014for interfacing with legacy head end equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
