Robert Bell
Chief Executive Officer
Robert Bell is the Chief Executive Officer at WISI America and the driving force behind the company’s vision and direction. Under his leadership, WISI America has evolved to satisfy the needs of large Tier 1 operators, increasing organizational capabilities and product features that enable operators to deploy and manage devices at scale.
Robert previously served as the Chief Operating Officer at Jackpot Digital Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Systems from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and an Executive MBA from Simon Fraser University.
Mike Bradley
Chief Technology Officer
As Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of WISI America, Mike Bradley leads the technological vision and strategy of the company.
Before WISI America, Mike spent many years developing video delivery solutions for video operators. His early work with resorts and cable operators in the Caribbean, led to the development and creation of early versions of the Inca Networks IPTV encoders and transcoders. Those innovative products built the foundation of WISI America’s current carrier-grade video processing solutions. He holds a M.Eng. from the University of Cambridge.
Mike Skowronski
VP Sales
Mike Skowronski is VP of Sales at WISI America. With over 25 years of sales experience in the telecommunications industry, he is responsible for growing sales by cultivating happy and loyal reference customers. Mike joined WISI in late 2013 and has grown the customer base in North America to over 300 video operators. Prior to joining WISI, Mike was Director of Sales for Minerva Networks.
Mike approaches his role as VP of Sales with humor and wit. He leads a team of highly experienced video sales professionals, and he enjoys collaborating with them on complex projects. Mike holds a B.A. in Management from Eckerd College in Florida.
Sharen Sandhu
VP Product
With over 15 years of product management experience, Sharen Sandhu is VP of Product at WISI America, where she leads product strategy and marketing. Sharen has played a key role in launching new solutions designed to effectively process video at the edge, while ensuring carrier-grade quality, operational efficiency, and a world-class user experience.
Sharen began her career in software development, before turning her focus to product management. She holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of British Columbia, and a M.Sc. degree in Design and Digital Media from the University of Edinburgh.
Bill Thiessen
VP Finance & Administration
As VP of Finance & Administration at WISI America, Bill Thiessen oversees the company’s financial direction, reporting, and compliance, with a keen focus on legal matters. With over 30 years of progressive experience in senior financial management, Bill has spearheaded company expansion financing, negotiated enduring customer and regulatory agreements, and collaborated with technology leaders to explore untapped markets for innovative products. His leadership has been instrumental in developing the financial infrastructure and nurturing talent essential for sustainable growth.
Previously, Bill served as Director of Finance for Pacific Coast Terminals and held various financial leadership roles across technology manufacturing, software development, and other industries. He has also contributed significantly as a board member for numerous industry associations and charities. Bill holds a BBA from Simon Fraser University and is a certified accountant (CPA, CA).
Tracey Topping
VP People & Culture
Tracey is VP People & Culture at WISI America and drives the company’s culture and HR processes. She has been the leading force behind WISI America maintaining its Great Place to Work ® certification and recognition as one of the Best Workplaces in Canada.
Originally from the UK, Tracey has over 2 decades of progressive end-to-end HR experience covering a variety of industries consisting of SMBs to multi-sited global organizations. Prior to working at WISI America, Tracey served as Global HR Lead at Incognito Software Systems and has worked at several other companies such as Hootsuite. She holds a B.Sc. in Business and Economics from Salford University and is Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (C.I.P.D) certified.
