Inca’s Intelligent Video Delivery Solution Provides Consolidated with Enhanced Television Service Capabilities

Vancouver, CANADA, August 7th, 2014 – Inca Networks, the Intelligent Video Delivery™ company, Inca Networks announced today that the company has developed a single-box solution for Consolidated Companies enabling them to launch new MPEG-4 IPTV channels to their approximately 2,500 DSL customers in 26 communities in west central Nebraska.

A full-service telecommunications company, Consolidated Companies faces a geographical challenge of delivering off-air TV as many of their customers are too far from broadcasters’ transmission towers. Consolidated receives a bundle of off-air channels from another independent telephone company in close proximity to the Fox and ABC station transmitter. With the Inca Demultiplexer, these channels can to be broken down into individual streams appropriate for IPTV delivery.

According to Nicholson, Inca’s solution has been trouble free, from the ease-of-use from deployment onwards. It was easily configured with existing hardware and network infrastructure.
