Inca’s Intelligent Video Delivery Solution Provides Consolidated with Enhanced Television Service Capabilities

Vancouver, CANADA, August 7th, 2014 – Inca Networks, the Intelligent Video Delivery™ company, Inca Networks announced today that the company has developed a single-box solution for Consolidated Companies enabling them to launch new MPEG-4 IPTV channels to their approximately 2,500 DSL customers in 26 communities in west central Nebraska.

“Inca’s platform is essentially a generation ahead. They have implemented a unique solution that is easy-to-use, allowing us to deliver exceptional television viewing experience and new channels to our customers,” says Tim Nicholson, Network Specialist with Consolidated Companies.

A full-service telecommunications company, Consolidated Companies faces a geographical challenge of delivering off-air TV as many of their customers are too far from broadcasters’ transmission towers. Consolidated receives a bundle of off-air channels from another independent telephone company in close proximity to the Fox and ABC station transmitter. With the Inca Demultiplexer, these channels can to be broken down into individual streams appropriate for IPTV delivery.

“The streamlined configuration and intelligent software architecture built into our products made it simple for Consolidated to offer television services,” says Jeff Campbell, CEO of Inca Networks.

According to Nicholson, Inca’s solution has been trouble free, from the ease-of-use from deployment onwards. It was easily configured with existing hardware and network infrastructure.

“Inca’s staff is extremely knowledgeable and responsive. They deliver a quality product that does exactly what they say it will do,” says Nicholson.

The Inca Demultiplexer enables Consolidated to easily and affordably demultiplex and groom their signal feeds and deliver high-quality video streams to their customers over their IP network, in a single box solution.
