together with EBBA Engineering PLC successfully installed a full interactive IPTV System at the Best Western Premier Dynasty Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The Best Western Premier Dynasty Hotel is a full-service hotel located in the Bole area,
center of Addis Ababa. The hotel is perfect for business or leisure travelers. The hotel has 89 luxurious rooms with various room options with or without balcony. The hotel has a meeting room for all types of meetings, a swimming pool, a luxury gym, a steam, and a sauna. The hotel features an all-day dining restaurant, lounge bar, lobby bar and a pastry shop. The rooms are spacious, and all equipped with the latest guest-room TV system.

The IPTV system deployed in the hotel is based on WISI’s Chameleon Video Headend Platform. Chameleon is a modular and fully flexible solution for IP video delivery suitable for the hospitality sector. Chameleon is used to receive S/S2, T/T2 and C satellite receptions. Affordable and multifunctional, Chameleon has several software functionality options like Scrambling (DRM) and Descrambling, IP Streaming etc. Depending on the customer’s needs each unit is capable of all different kinds of processing which can be modified and upgraded at any time, without changing the hardware.

Additionally, guests can easily access hotel amenities like room service, concierge services, or make a spa booking appointment through the guest-room TV, thanks to WISIon IPTV Middleware. The smooth integration of WISIon with the hotel’s Property Management System (PMS) enable guests to view their purchases (view billing) and complete express check-outs. Together, this set-up provides a complete Interactive IPTV System that serves the entire hotel.
